"一年一度的大温/菲沙河谷公立中学的排名是很多BCbay读者及华裔移民所关心的。根据菲沙研究所近期公布的《2011年卑诗省及育空地区中学成绩 单》，今年大温/菲沙河谷地区共有25所公立中学的平均成绩在7分以上。在今年的学区排名中，西温，温区，白石/南素里，高贵林和北温依次为大温公立中学
学区排名前5甲；兰里，三角洲，列治文，北素里，本拿比，枫树岭随后，温哥华东区继续垫底，排名在最后。
第一名：西温哥华(West Vancouver），平均7.63分
该市共有3所公立中学，其中Sentinel中学获8.2分，在大温公立中学中排名第2名；Rockridge中学平均分数为7.8，在大温公立中学中排名第4名；West Vancouver中学仅得6.9分，表现差强人意，未能进入今年大温公校前25名。
传统富人区 -- 西温的独立屋房价为163万加元（指Benchmark或标准独立房价格，2011年4月数据，下同），4月份单月上扬7.3%，成为了当月大温地产业最亮丽的城市。
第二名：温哥华西区(Vancouver West)，平均7.41分
温哥华西区共有8所公立中学，有6所中学平均分数超过了7分。其中University Hill，Lord Byng及Prince Of Wales中学分别以8.8，8.1和7.8分居大温公立中学前1名，第3和第4名，表现相当出色。温西地区平均成绩超过7分的公立中学还有 Point Grey (7.5分)，Sir Winston Churchill (7.2分)和St Patrick
Regional中学 (7.0分)。
温哥华西区是加拿大乃至全球的“经典富人区”，其标准独立屋房价已高达197万加元，普通工薪阶层面对这样的“经典”，只能“望房兴叹”。
第三名：白石／南素里 (White Rock/South Surrey)，平均7.03分
白石/南素里是大温传统好区之一，该区除拥有Southridge中学这样全省数一数二的私校以外，也有三所相当不错的公立中学。其中Elgin Park 中学今年以7.5分名列大温公立中学第8名；华人新移民偏爱的Semiahmoo 中学 以7.2分排名大温公立中学 15名。
Elgin Park中学学区附近的房价在最近4个月已上涨25%，资深地产经纪人对BCbay中文网记者称，环境优美的Elgin Chantrell小区已连续三月出现了一房难求的抢房状况，其独立屋房价已达143万加元，仅次于温西和西温的房价。
第四名：高贵林学区 (Coquitlam/Port Moody/Port Coquitlam)，平均6.6分
高贵林学区实际上覆盖了三个城市 -- 高贵林，满地宝和高贵林港，即“三联市”。该学区共有8所中学，学区比较整齐，今年以6.6的平均评鉴分数超过北温哥华市。其中地处满地宝山上的新中学 Heritage Woods以7.5分排名大温公立中学第8名；高贵林市中心附近的Gleneagle中学以7.2分排名15名，高贵林中部地区的Dr. Charles
Best中学以7.1分排名21名。
高贵林/满地宝地区的标准独立屋房价仅为70万左右，三年未见明显涨幅。其优良的学区，高密度的城市森林，以及“价廉屋美”，有可能在将来吸引更多关注子 女教育的华人移居。有资深地产经纪人对BCbay.com记者称，随着2004年从大温中心至高贵林/满地宝的天车的建成，三联市，尤其风景秀丽的满地宝 市的楼盘价格有可能大幅上扬。
第五名：北温哥华 (North Vancouver)，平均6.48分
北温共有6所中学，其中Handsworth中学以7.5分排大温公立中学第8名。该市平均分数超过7分的中学还有 Argyle中学（7.2分），Seycove中学（7.1分）。

第六名：兰里，平均6.46分
此次排名，兰里市的平均评鉴分数仅以0.02分之差，排在北温学区之下。不过，仅有8所公立中学的兰里，就有4所中学在7分以上，表现异常突出。其中 Langley Fine Arts，R E Mountain Secondary中学以7.6分并列大温公立中学第6名；Langley Fundamental中学7.4分排列第12名，Walnut Grove 中学以7.3分列第13名。
兰里人口12.8万，平均家庭年收入$91,971, 标准独立屋房价仅为51.6万。相对高的家庭收入和相对低的房价形成强烈对比，兰里的中产阶级家庭更有余力在子女的教育上做出投入。

第七名：三角州，平均6.37分
三角州共有7所公立中学，该区进入全省25强的公立中学有 Delta 中学 (7.3分) 和 Burnsview中学（7.0分）。
第八名：列治文，平均6.04分
列治文市人口18.9万，华人比例高达43%，是北美华人密度最高的城市。列治文独立屋房价在最近一年增加了25%，高达$108万。与高房价相比，列治 文的平价家庭年收入却偏低，仅为$82,564，大大低于西温和西区，也低于北温，高贵林，满地宝，高贵林港，兰里和三角洲。
列治文共有10所公立中学，今年最好的中学为 J N Burnett （7.2分），在大温公立中学中排名仅为第15位，与该区的高房价完全不匹配。该区仅有2所中学进入大温公立25强，另一所中学是Hugh McRoberts，其平均分数仅为7.0分。
第九名：北素里，平均5.97分
素里人口43.2万，是大温地区仅次于温哥华市的第二大城市，亚洲人口约21%，其中印度移民占13%。素里平均家庭年收入为$84,637，高于华人集中的列治文市，但独立屋房价却远低于列治文，仅为54万。
北素里共有16所公立中学，是公立中学最多的城市之一。由于学校太多，发展很难平衡，所以平均评鉴分数不算高。北素里市进入大温公校25强的公立中学仅有 Fleetwood Park 中学，以7.2分在今年的大温公立中学中排名15名。
第十名：本那比，平均5.70分
本那比市尤其是铁道镇（Metrotown)深受华人新移民的喜爱，独立屋房价为90万。近几年来，本拿比的中学表现不算太好，市内共有8所公立中学，没有一所公立中学的平均成绩超过7分，也因此无缘大温公立中学25强。
第十一名：枫树岭，平均5.43
枫树岭人口仅7.5万，平均家庭收入$81,980，平均房价$464,125，区内共6所公立中学，未见有出色表现。但该区却有一所非常突出的私立中学 -- Meadowridge，该中学以9.0分的评鉴分数，在全省274所中学中排名第8位。
第十二名：温哥华东区，平均5.03
温东地区共11所中学，是亚洲移民比较集中的区之一。虽然独立屋房价有80.8万，不算低，但区内中学表现却大大低于大温平均水平。"
